Ecore
Performance rubber flooring built from reclaimed tire rubber — engineered for how a surface absorbs force, returns energy and controls sound.
Lancaster, Pennsylvania · Founded 1871
Ecore started in 1871 as a cork manufacturer and moved into rubber in 1965. Today it makes more than 1,500 products from reclaimed rubber, for fitness facilities, playgrounds, healthcare, hospitality and other spaces that take heavy traffic.
What separates Ecore is that it treats a floor as a performance surface rather than a covering. Its products are specified by measurable properties — force reduction, energy restitution and acoustic performance — which is why they turn up in facilities where a dropped weight, a sprint or a jump is part of the daily use rather than an exception.
The sustainability record is real and documented. Ecore diverts over 430 million pounds of rubber waste from landfill each year, runs a take-back program that reclaims end-of-life flooring for reprocessing, and holds UL Platinum Zero Waste to Landfill certification at its York facility — the highest designation available. Manufacturing is US-based.
We specify Ecore where performance is the requirement and the budget supports it: training floors, platform areas, and rooms where impact noise or force reduction has to be answered with test data rather than an opinion.
We supply Ecore surfaces across Florida and nationwide. Send us the room and what happens in it, and we will tell you whether Ecore is the right answer — including when it is more floor than the job needs.
No prices are shown. Every project is quoted on its own scope, from measurements we take ourselves.
