Pick by traffic and supervision, not by budget. The fastest way to lose money on a gym is to buy one grade down and replace it in three years.

Built for continuous use by people you will never meet. Heavier frames, higher-duty motors and bearings, serviceable parts, and a warranty written for facility traffic.

Read this before you buy down a grade

A shared room is commercial use, no matter who owns the building.

If residents, patients, guests or employees can walk in and use it, the manufacturer treats it as commercial use. Put a residential-rated machine in that room and you have done two things at once: voided its warranty, and moved the liability onto whoever signed the purchase order.

That is not a sales line. It is in the warranty document, and it is the single most expensive mistake we see on amenity-room quotes.
