Mateflex

Modular interlocking tile for courts and multipurpose rooms — a surface that goes down without adhesive and comes up without demolition.

Utica, New York · Manufacturing since 1974

Mateflex has been making modular tile in Utica, New York since 1974 — fifty years in the same place, shipping worldwide. Their tiles turn up under basketball and pickleball courts, ice rinks, multipurpose rooms, and a long list of venues that need a floor to do more than one job.

The advantage of a modular system is practical. Tiles interlock and lay over an existing slab with no adhesive, which means no cure time, no odor, and no demolition when the room changes use. A damaged tile lifts out and a new one drops in, instead of patching a seam or recutting a roll.

It is also the answer for a room that has to be two things. A community center floor that is a basketball court on Saturday and a function room on Sunday is a modular tile problem, not a rubber roll problem.

We specify Mateflex for courts, multipurpose rooms, outdoor and covered play areas, and anywhere a building owner wants a surface they can reconfigure later without starting over.

We supply Mateflex across Florida and nationwide. Tell us the dimensions and what the room has to do, and we will lay out the tile count, the color pattern and the edging.

No prices are shown. Every project is quoted on its own scope, from measurements we take ourselves.
